IPSC
De NPSA is de Nederlandse Parcours Schutters Associatie die de IPSC in Nederland vertegenwoordigt.
IPSC is de afkorting van International Practical Shooting Confederation.Dit is een dynamische vorm van schietsport waarbij, behalve precisie ook de snelheid van de schutter erg belangrijk is. Er wordt geschoten op papieren targets en op metalen doelen zoals poppers en plates. Op wedstrijden worden er ‘stages’ (parcours) uitgezet met meerdere doelen die doorgaans op verschillende afstanden staan die de schutter dan moet afleggen. Het is een soort freestyle waarbij de schutter zelf, binnen de regels, bepaalt in welke volgorde hij de stage aflegt. Men schiet altijd in een divisie tegen deelnemers met soortgelijke wapens.
